I attended a mathematic-scientific grammar school until 11th grade, then finally realized that it wasn't my cup of tea and went to an art school for two years. After that I completed a vocational training and am now a "state-certified foreign language correspondent".
In January 2007 I moved from Germany to Northern Ireland and now work there as a bilingual service support agent.
On Sundays I can be found volunteering at a nearby animal sanctuary called Assisi, where I have also adopted my two lumps Marlon and Boots from.
I am absolutely fascinated by the Victorian and early Edwardian era, especially the clothing of about 1880 and 1905. I also love Gothic/Elegant Lolita style.
My sewing skills are still quite humble but I am getting there.
Traditional and digital art work have been hobbies of mine for long and I started digital photography in the first few months of 2006 when I bought my Konica Minolta Dimage Z5.
In my CD player: A curious mix of classic rock (Meat Loaf, Queen, Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams), modern pop (Anastacia, Robbie Williams) and weird stuff I don't dare to classify (Loreena McKennitt, Schandmaul, Eisbrecher, Disturbed)
Webcomics I read: Clan of the Cats, Fish Tank Cartoon,Girl Genius, Two Lumps, Weregeek
